Octopuses - invertebrates

Just read that you can foster children.  The Fostering Team call 0800 783 5724.

 

Octopuses are fascinating, big bodies and loads of tentacles, what do they do with them?  Well lots they can feed themselves, catch things and use tools.

insects - glow worms

I have always wondered about glow worms! Just seem so nice, I wanted to find out more about these insects, where you can find them, where you can go out and actually see them.

How long they live, what there partners are like (mate).  There is actually a load of information out there about these amazing creatures and as I started reading I got more fascinated by the subject and would just love to see some.

Bird food at Pets at home and bbowt

Was walking down the street the other day and saw a New Age shop opposite Trinity College, Oxford City.  Went in and did a half hour meditation.  Felt dead relaxed afterwards and got thinking about bird food!

Caught the bus up to Pets at Home and bought a couple of £3 packs went home and sprinkled it on the garden.  The link for Pets at Home is below and you can buy bird food online as well

The Gorillas

Hi

I put the elephant in the basket on London zoo website (under shop) and saw a cuddly Gorillas, so actually bought him as well (dead cute)

Bought the cuddly toy that goes with it to sleep with (love cuddly toys)

I think I had better leave it at that

there are loads more animals on the website, but still perhaps at a another time

I am expecting all the photos in the post so cant wait, not a hobby, just something I had to do for love.

The elephants - part two

Well I finally bought that elephant from London zoo, cost £20, delighted, will get my newsletter soon and some stuff through the post.

elephants sometimes have a rogue elephant that splits from the herd, I liked this notion and bought it because I am in a group of 'rogues' who are my best mates, so we just all thought, Yeah that feels right, we are a little bit naughty sometimes

So without question I bought it

Rock Steady - my first horse

Rock Steady was the first share in a race horse that I ever bought and was an instant winner.  I won £30 on my first bet. A great little earner, even if I do say so myself

He had a short rest but has started his season again, so I am looking forward to some more wins!!!

I can buy his photos and I will as soon as I get some extra cash aside.  He was my first, so always special to me.  (You can Google the name(Rock Steady)). (quite interesting what it produces)

Spirit of Wedza - race horse

Spirit of Wedza, who is this horse?

Well you can actually buy a share in this horse and I definitely did.

It is a good runner

but the name (Spirit of Wedza) is really special and has deep meanings,  I suggest you Google it and find out just how special it is.

It is running soon!!! and I am going to bet on it down the local betting shop in Cowley Road

I am so pleased that (I) have a share in such a horse

The Elephants

Hi Everybody

Well I have called London Zoo again. (02074496200) and asked to adopt an elephant this time.

I have already adopted a tiger.

going to take a little while to do this one so said I would call back when I can fit it in.

My sister (Lorraine) likes the giraffes.
