Barn Owl

The Barn Owl has got to be one of the top favourite birds. It is so pretty and you can see videos of it in flight across the internet.

It mainly comes out during the early evening and likes open fields and hedgerows to spend its times in.  The Barn Owl is a good hunter and will fly across the fields looking for a meal.  They mainly eat small animals such as mice, shrews and voles.

There are quite a few of them in the nearby countryside and it is nice to go out with binoculars to see them one evening.
